I always have difficulties finding snacks that help with my HUGE sweet tooth! Tonight I was searching the kitchen for something to snack on and this is what I came up with: * 1 Yoplait No-fat Peach yogurt * 3 strawberries thinly sliced * 1/2 banana thinly sliced * 1/4 cup blueberries I mixed it all together and it was fabulous! Anyone else have recommendations for a sweet tooth? PS-Also wanted to mention that I'm down 5 pounds..but I've been bad...this is only because of diet modification..I haven't been exercising. I bought a pedometer and I plan on walking/doing cardio for 45 mins a day, 5-6 times a week. Yay!

Dannon Light-n-Fit is only 60 calories. Fat Free Fudgecicles are 40 calories-- and SF popsicles are 20 cals, I think. Sugarless gum is less than 5 calories per piece. An apple or a nectarine are 50-60 calories. Bananas are higher at 100, but contain potassium. Sugar free/fat free Jello pudding is 80 calories per half cup

Hi Aimee, Shari gave really good suggestions.  But Shari, I think the SF popsicles are just 10 calories though.   About the exercise, if you're not use to exercising think about starting small and working your way up.  Like maybe start with a 10 or 15 minute walk and then increase that a little each week.  Or remember that you can also break up the exercise -- 15 mins. here, 15 mins there -- you don't have to do it all in one clip.  But, the thing to remember is that any amount of exercise is better than none.

I have been doing cardio (treadmill or eliptical) 4-5x a week for almost 6 weeks...I've just been slacking this last week!

One thing I hate about  my treadmill is that you can't program your weight into the machine so it does not give an accurate count of calories burned! I'm looking into buying a treadclimber from bowflex.

Yeah, I've heard that the treadclimbers are nice and you can do different things with it.  Though I have one, I absolutely hate the treadmill.  No form of exercise on earth bores me to tears more than the treadmill.  I've tried it while listening to music and even that doesn't help much.  Maybe if I could watch television while on the thing, it would help, but I can't see my t.v. from where my treadmill is and it's too heavy to move around.

If you are a mocha coffee or hot chocolate lover...chocolate protien powder - i get the whey one at costco - mix 1/2 scoop first in some cold water to dissolve, then add ho****er or coffee.   only about 75 caloires and 17g protein! no sugar or carbs to mention.

Are the bars filling or do you have something else to go along with it?
