Redemption!
Okay...after the carb-fest, I took a THREE HOUR nap. Three! Hours! I felt like a cat that was trying to digest a squirrel, you know? Utter crap. I seriously felt like I'd ruined four months of mojo and it wasn't ever coming back.
Got up and went to the gym, because tonight's the free water aerobics class AND water yoga, and I decided to do both back-to-back. I started warming up, but the instructor didn't come. Four ladies were waiting, and they got in with me and started doing what I was doing, so we had a mini class. The pool supervisor saw what I was doing and gave me 3 free passes to any fitness class and three free guest passes (which are usually $11 a piece!)! It was awesome.
The actual instructor finally showed, but people had to leave, so it was just me and one other woman-- for an hour and 45 minutes. She was a lame instructor, and said she was quitting soon...and I realized, "Hey-- that'd be SOOO cool! I could be the instructor, work out a few days a week, get paid to do it, and work with people like me who are fat but want to be fit!" I have a lifeguard cert already (would have to re-test), I just need an instructional cert-- how hard can that be?
So maybe my future summer job is gonna be "Water Aerobics Instructor."
Bigger news is that I redeemed myself for earlier stupidity. I didn't gain 10 pounds. I *could* move, and did. And now I feel much better.

Good to see you back up and running Ms. Water Aerobics Instructor. A job like that would definitely kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
