New to this forum
Greetings to all!!
I just stumbled across this fabulous forum and I must say it's refreshing to see people going at this weight loss thing the good ol' fashion way. Now don't get me wrong, I'm having wls in a few weeks and love the people on the VSG forum but this is great for people who do not want to undergo surgery. I wish I would have found you guys earlier when I needed to lose "only" 30lbs as oppose to my 80lbs+ I now need to get rid of. I am however doing a 3 week pre-op diet so you'll probably hear me rant on about this phase of my journey. That's all folks!!

They've all been more than gracious with me as I rant about my pre-surg nonsense. A board full of class acts. And since they're pretty rational people, I find I feel more comfortable here than in the larger venues where loose cannons abound...

Hi Jessie and welcome to the non-op board.
The way I look at it, we can all visit any board on here because we are all in the process of losing weight, each and every one of us. Those that aren't losing are preparing to, those that are done losing are maintaining. I have found on every board that there is plenty of talk about good food, low fat/low sugar/low carb, etc., for all of us. Okay, so the sex board doesn't talk too much about food. hehe
Good luck with your surgery!!!!!
