Last Thursday, I treated myself to some Smoked Wings, pea salad (which was actually good made with booger peas), and ceasar salad from a BBQ joint here, then this past Sunday I had Chinese Fried Wings.. Talk about some gooooood eatin! Wings are definitely good. Are you talking about wings with or without batter? I was crazy about the ones with batter long time ago, but found I could eat twice as many without the batter for almost the same amount of calories. ;) Plus I can eat them faster. Food is such a wonderful thing!

Oh batter.. Do you care for the ones without batter?.Hey sometime try Wing Street's Garlic Parmesian Traditional Wings.(These are not breaded).. AWESOME w/ breadsticks and ceasar salad w/ Ranch. =) I will be treating myself in the middle of next month! I'm going to try to be a good lil boy for the next 3 to 4 weeks. I gotta get to 235 by the beginning of August.
Bud, I've never tried those, I'll look for them, you get them from the grocery store right? I'll also look for the Morningstar ones that Angie mentioned. Good to have something like that on hand for when I have a craving that won't go away. But, that's next time, this time I'm going for the grease.

Just wanted to poke my head in too! yes, by all means do indulge once in a while. Even if it slows loss, it makes life sweeter when you feel like you can eat beloved things once in a while!
I also want to say your tastes WILL change. It is truly amazing. I noticed someone turning into Carl's Jr in front of me today and gave a silent prayer of thanks that that kind of food is not even appealing anymore. Was a day when i would have turned into that driveway myself and said consequences be damned.
NOT that I never eat food "like that", but i am far more judicious when i do so. Instead of twice a month, I go like 3x annually! I do eat pizza, but again, more like 3-4x a year, not 3x a month!

I like the idea of designating a day to indulge. Mine is tomorrow ... I've already got my Popeyes menu mapped out. I picked Thursdays because I can have a few extras and still bounce back in time for weigh-in Sunday.
I agree Dee, the one day going off plan seems to work best for me. The trick is just keeping it to the one day, that's where you have to watch yourself, make up your mind, and be firm about not letting that one day spill over to 2 or more. You've got to keep the devil in check. I weigh-in on Saturdays so I give myself an entire week to wash away any sins.
