Neecee I'm so far from goal it's not even funny.  This is a perfect example of how WLS is not a miracle.  I'm working my ass off to get this weight off of me and having a hard time doing it.  This is no easier than before.  Damnit!!

Yeah chicky, I'm going on July 23rd for my second fill.  MAYBE I'll feel something with this fill.  The last fill, I felt nothing, and I'm already half filled up (5cc's in my 10cc band).  This is sooo damn hard!!  I'm sorry to sound like a cry baby, but here's the truth; I had this damn surgery to have this "tool" HELP me lose weight.  To make my journey of weight loss EASIER.  This is not helping me one bit right now.  I need another fill and I need to feel some restriction soon because I'm going crazy.  I feel just like I did before I had surgery.  I was even contemplating going back on Atkin's the other night, just to have some success.  I'm staying under 1500 calories a day, or just about.  Granted I'm not exercising, but christ!  I was on Jenny Craig for 6 months eating 2000 calories a day and not one move of exercise and I lost 60 pounds!  What is so hard this time??!??

Interesting Janina, maybe a little moving may spark something good. Is this weight loss rate normal for the band? What has your doc said? Is that enough calories for you? Lastly..How often do you weigh yourself?

Yeah, I'm sure moving would help but I'll be nice and frank: I'm too lazy and too embarassed to get into the gym.  My weight loss rate is normal.  I'm in what's referred to as "Bandster Hell".  It's when you feel no restriction at all from your lap-band, and therefor, get no help from it either.  My doctor can't fill me all up on one go, so I have to go back in again in a few weeks to get another fill.  I'm positive it's enough calories for me, or at least I think so.  Most people lose weight at this, don't they?  And I weigh myself once a week.  Sundays, after I tinkle in the morning.

Yes, you got it...bandster hell, Janina! From all my readings, restriction will kick in.  Keep the faith. that does suck...1500 calories, even with no exercise you "should" be losing. I think it is a plateau, so just be stubborn. I have a question...are your meals small or are they three larger ones?  try making sure they are around 300 calories a pop. You do need exercise, if for no other reason than to manage stress and to kick start metabolism. Don't give up...you can do it.

I understand about the gym Janina. I bought a treadmill to avoid the gym.  Maybe an option for you however if you know some secluded, quiet parks to walk, it would  be good cause you have all the serenity to free yourself from stress as well as comfort for your concious.  Everyday I go walking I am moritifed by the stares.. and cars that slow down and look while I'm walking.. I just blast my MP3 player, suck it up and go off into la-la land. So is the rate you lost at WW about the same as with your Band?
