Every time I've been in OH, I've always gone straight to the LapBand board. I'm interested in working the eating and exercise plan prior to surgery. Is this for people are are or are not going to have surgery?

Hi nice lady! (UN-like OTHER people I can name or beat up after I find her...) There is a mixed bag here..some have had it already, some may have WLS, others dead set against it, some not sure, still thinking, sooooo pony up to da bar and jump in anywhere!

Hi Michele, Yeah, I would say we have a pretty mixed bag here, but I think this is the only forum where you will find people who have decided that they want to try to lose the weight without WLS, or have already lost a signficant amount of weight without surgery. I'm one of the ones in the group who does NOT want to have the surgery and I'm determined to lose the weight without it. But, just in case I can't do it on my own, I'm keeping WLS as an option in the back of my mind. I would reluctantly consider the surgerY if all else fails, but I'm going to try my damnest to lose it by changing my lifestyle.

This board is for people who want to lose weight without surgery. I hang around because I've been on this board before my surgery, while I was losing weight the traditional way, and got attached to the folks on here. So that's why I'm here, even though I had WLS
