We (hubby, 4 children ages 9,7,5, and20 months, and I) moved from New Zealand to America one year ago today.  I think this year has gone by faster than any year in history.  It so literally feels like it was just last month.  It's amazing.

There are things I liked and miss about New Zealand and when I was there, there were things I missed about America.  So they both rate quite high in my books.  I'm from here; hubby's from there.  All four children were born there.  We are staying as long as we feel that's what God wants us to do.  Thst's the philosophy we've used so far and God has always taken care of us.

Congrats!! -- I'm assuming because it passed so quickly for you, that it's been a good year.

Well I guess as is true for one year in the life of anyone, it's had its up' and down's.  FIL died in Oct 06, (yes 4 months after we got here), so that was a biggie, but all things considered everyone has adjusted quite well.  I guess that's what makes it seem to have flown by so quickly.
