South Beach Protien Bars

Greetings Ya'll, I would like to know if any has tried these bars, they are pretty good.    The Cinnamon Raisin Bars are 140 calories, 7 grams of Carbs and 10 grams of Protein.  I find them less expensive than the Kasi and Special K bars.... and they have less sugar and more protein.  Thanks

I have tried them... the peanut butter ones are my favorite ones the kashi bars/ special k bars have more sugar than the Southbeach bars, so I stay away from them. If you have a Sams, or Costco where you live, you can buy the chocolate and peanut butter ones in bulk, and it's way cheaper.

You're right!  I love Costo.  I by those and the Nature Valley crunchy granola bars there and it is soooo much more less expensive .

Hey Diva, Yup I've tried them.  They are really good.  My problem was they just didn't stay with me long and I would get hungry pretty quickly.  Soooo, no more protein bars.  Hope they work better for you. Melinda

Well it is a far cry from bacon, eggs and toast, but I eat one for breakfast... Have you tried it with some yogurt....or with some fruit?

I dig the Kashi Honey Almond Flax best...but for a meal replacement, I gotta go with South Beach Meal Replacement bars in Chocolate/Peanut Butter. Those stay with me all day!

If you like almonds, the Honey Almond Flax is yummy. The others-- like peanut butter-- I found just "okay."

Love 'em!  But usually eat them for a treat, like when I'm craving a candy bar or somenthing peanutbuttery or chocolately.  Unforunately, they don't stick with me either. I end up being hungry sooner rather than later.  I do love the Nature Valley crunchy granola bars.  Those really fill me up and I'm good to go!
