Welcome to the forum Diva. Congrats on your starting weight loss. I'm sure you'll be shedding lots o pounds in the future as well. I know what you mean about those with WLS losing so much per week. Just remember, losing one or two pounds a week is the best way for us to sustain the weight loss. Plus it's healthier for our bodies overall.

What a cute cat... I know losing the weight slowly is the best... I have to stay in prayer and away from the scale.....That scale depressed me... I had lost 5 pounds and gained it back the following week.... I cried and snotted all over the place becasue I was so upset.... but it was the week before "Aunty Flo Flo" showed up, so I had mega water retention going on. So I need to not rely so much on the scale and recognize how I feel and how my close fit. That will be a better measure (I think!

Hello Diva! Welcome to the Non-Ops board! It looks like you're already cultivating great habits. Of course it's great to lose the weight, but as you'll see on other surgery boards and in stories like "The Biggest Loser," keeping it off is just as important.

Thank you much.... yes indeed.... maintenance, maintenance, maintenance... Those people from "The Biggest Loser" they lose so much weight... and Celebrity FIt club too.... My frustation with those websites is that to get access to the information, you have to pay monthly..... Almost $20 or more to get access to the information. I already pay for a monthly gym membership... and I feel it is wrong for those sites to charge for that information.... Kinda upsetting...
