I'd like to burn my female plumbing!

Since seriously focusing on my diet these past few months, my "tom" has moved around so much, I'm not sure when she will be here!  In March, she came around the 25th, April it was the 20th, last month it was the 14th and now I feel like I'm going to start up at any moment. I guess that would explain my horrible weekend - I was soooo hungry this weekend and was having horrible cravings that I did cave a few times, still staying under 1800 calories total.... but my scale is doing the yo-yo thing between 245 and 250 this whole time.  Has this happened to anyone else? When you start losing weight and exercising more, your body goes totally out of whack? I'm having really horrible cramping this month - like I would rather stay in bed/not move then get up & exercise and that only happened to me before I had kids!

I do feel sorry for you, but my experience is the exact opposite.  My cycles stretch out from 28 days to 32 or 33 days when I am exercising regularly and there is little to no cramping.  I do however have horrible cravings that can derail my plan really badly and make it really hard to get back on track.   If last month it started on the 14th and it is now the 12th, it should be ready to start at any moment, shouldn't it?  Sorry about the cramping though.  That is no fun.

Sounds like you are pretty normal and on a 28 day cycle.  You start counting from the first day of your last period, so like the other lady said if it was the 14th you should be due anyday now. As for me, I was NEVER any where near regular until I lost weight back in 1997.  I've been pretty much regular since then...as for the cramps, try exercising right around your period.  I know you might be tired, etc, but my friend swears her cramps are worse if she just lays around as opposed to working out. Don't you just wish we could have a set day that we would start? I have recently came off of birth control after being on it for 3 years and going from a very predictable 28 days to about 37-42. I hate it. I am currently trying to concieve but I never know when to expect tom. Last month I took like 3 pregnancy tests thinking that I may be pregnant before I finally started. Good Luck! Candy
