Exercise--what do you do?

So I've been looking for some new and relatively inexpensive ways to work out.  Right now I do DDR (the video game that you lose weight playing!), Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds and sometimes I walk the boardwalk near my house, it's about a quarter mile long so i walk it both ways a couple times so it's about a mile.  Not to bad, except for when it's hot.  So... what do you do to work out?

Sweatin to the oldies in your basement.... You don't have to worry about what you are wearing, and tugging your clothes down over your fat rolls, and the best thing about Richard Simmons tapes/Cd's is that there are fat people working out on the tape, so you don't feel like a turd. Follow this link on Amazon.com, and you will find his DVD's....

Hi, I go to a gym, I've been a member for almost 5 years now.  I have been regular there since October, 2005.  I go 3-4 times a week, sometimes 5 if i can fit it in to a busy schedule.  I do the elliptical for 40 minutes and then the circuit.  I also do a weight lifting class twice a week.   When I was recovering from my most recent plastic surgery, I walked our local "rail trail" which is 4 miles long.

I would love to try that DDR, except I have like absolutely NO rhythm!!!

ddr is pretty cool, but im really losing interest in it.  i can only do it for so long because it hurts the feet.  jumping for 20 minutes also doesn't really tone or strengthen anything it just kinda makes you hot and sweaty.  (i don't have much rhythm, but it's still pretty simple, you just gotta practice.)

MWF I do an hour of weight training (with a trainer) and about 20 minutes of boxing.  I supplement that with a 60 minute walk six times a week (moving my rest day around as I need it). I'd really recommend mixing in weight training if you can.  Building extra muscle helps raise your resting metabolic rate and ultimately will help you lose weight faster than cardio alone.  And there's a lot you can do with a pretty basic weight set.
