Yesterday at lunchtime I ran into one of my relatives, who works in the same area.
The good: She almost walked past me without recognizing me, and we only saw each other two months ago!
The bad: When she realized it was me, she said I needed to work on my upper arms (I have some loose skin and was wearing a sleeveless top today) -- this from someone who had WLS! What the hayle?
I second Chris Beyotch slap her with those jigglies!!!!! I think it stems from jealousy.......she is no longer the only one that has lost a significant amount of weight and therefore has to attack! Take it in stride and realize that somewhere in the back of her little mind she still wishes she were you!

Most of our family lives in the South, and I haven't visited them in seven years, so they haven't seen me ... they still probably think I'm 300+. Perhaps some photos are in order.
I concur-- slap her head off her neck with your batwings.

Sounds like that relative is pretty insecure to have tried to put you down in such a pathetic way.
I agree with everyone, next time get those arms a flappen and whap her with em. Maybe that will teach her to keep her trap shut.
You keep being you and forget about that so-called relative. She's not worth the aggravation or hurt she might have tried to inflict.

Did she at least congratulate or commend you on your weight loss? You should have told her she needs to tighten up those 2 flaps we call lips.. This is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to comments. I have had a couple in the past two weeks at werk that have been off the wall, one even in front of my entire workgroup and my BIG BOSS from Asia.. It was mortifying. They have made me realize how people really viewed me. It will hurt.. it will be comfortable.. but use it as motivation.
