Hello everyone. Yesterday, I decided to go buy some new threads after repeated comments at werk on how baggy my clothes were... I would have gotten them tailored again, but the seamstress said they wouldn't look right.
I am amazed, and I am sure I am not the only one with this... Why is it everyone wears your size... I looked at both all the Wallywerld's (5 to be exact!) and Target in my area for 46x32s. Couldn't find them.. saw everything else w/ 32 in it but that.. So I decided to get a 44x32. I was so happy they fit when I got home w/ a little wiggle room. All I need to do is stretch those bad boys. Ha!
And you may wonder why I didn't go to a department store.. BIG FOLK CLOTHES ARE EXPENSIVE.. I remember going to Big & Tall & Dillards and spending 90-100 bucks on 2 pair of pants.. you could catch them on sale for 70 sometimes..
So now I have to go to the other side of Houston to find 2 more pairs of 44x32.
Also why is it when I go in Wallywerld to get a couple of items.. I end up with a receipt that is 3 times as much as I wanted to spend.. I need some intervention.
I'm also happy to report I am now a 1x in shirts!
Have you tried a Sears? My husband has the same problem but just the opposite and I always am able to find clothes for him there (he's a 30-1x36--tall and skinny)
I do recall last time I shopped that I could find sizes similar to yours and was kinda PO'd at the time.....guess it sucks on both ends of the spectrum

That is interesting.. however it may be his height. Although the majority of my weight is in the middle. How is he proportioned?
