Can I have some cookies!?!?! How long did it take you to whip out that many cookies? You'll do fine at your weigh whether a loss or gain.. take it and stride... give yourself credit for what you've already done. This is a itsy bitsy step in the big picture.

Don't be too impressed - - they were just Toll House refrigerater cookie dough.  I made 5 of the large rolls.  Started at 8:30 pm and finished just before midnight!  Thanks for the good thoughts.  I think I may need them! Sonja

This weekend was good. Plenty of exercise and eating! Friday night - Turkey slices & crab salad w/ mixed greens, mushrooms, tomatoes, and 1/2 half atkins bar and 4 sugar free brownie bites. Saturday - Breakfast - 1 shake & half of Atkins bar. Lunch - 1/2 chicken breast w/ salad, ricotta cheese, and bacon bits, 1 Russell Stover's SF Caramel Medallion. Snack - Shake and 1/2 Atkins bar. Dinner - Crab salad w/mixed greens and cucumbers... I think I had another caramel medallion that evening..  can't remember . Sunday -  Breakfast - 1 shake & half of Atkins bar. Lunch - turkey slices w/ cottage cheese, mixed greens, mushrooms, 1 Russell Stover's Caramel Medallion, Snack - Shake and 1/2 Atkins bar. Dinner - Baked leg quarter w/ vegetable lasagna.  I had a couple of brownie bites last night too! Most of my calories are from fat & protein. I do get in plenty of carbs from the veggies, but its mostly fiber. Also the atkins bar has high fiber as well as protein.

My exercise plan has kinda went to crap, just too many other things to do in the summer!  On a positive note though, the new job that I'm doing now is in a very crowded bulding, so I HAVE to park further away so that's at least some walking....still taking the stairs and am no longer gasping for air at the top of one flight.....

BUT, I am still doing well with my healthy eating.... Friday- Special K, skim milk, and strawberries....salad w/ fresh vegies, feta cheese, and lowfat Italian dressing....whole wheat spaghetti with chunky vegetable sauce. Saturday- WW toast, scrambled egg, and two slices of bacon....left over spaghetti, salad, and fresh kiwi.....grilled chicken breast, grilled veggies, and watermelon. Sunday- Special K, skim milk, and strawberries....grilled ground round burger, salad.....grilled salmon, stir fried veggies, and more watermelon....

Oh, and somewhere in there I ate three of those 40 calories ff/sf fudgsiciles.  (not all at one time)

10/4/07 surgery 265, 11/7/07 1st fill  252, 12/27/07 2nd fill 243, 1/16/08 234, 2/27/08 3rd fill 230, 5/18/08 209, 6/12/08 home scale 200!!!!!!!!!!! 10/22/08 1 yr......184, 11/4/08.....170, Pouch dilation in April 10, complete unfill. Starting over! 7/29/10-175

Spent most of the weekend doing chores, but still did my cycling and walking each day.  I've been below 1500 calories each day.  I hit anothe rmilestone last Thursday night by walking 2.1 miles uninterrupted.  It's a new month and I'm looking to be another 30 pounds down by the end of the month which will get me very close to breaking below 400. On a completely different note, how evil is it to secretly root for the relationship of a friend to continue to fall apart so you can possibly swoop in later?

If the girl likes you and you like her then screw him. Especially if he's not all that close to you and definitely if he's a womanizer.  If my wife had been with my best friend and I was in love with her and there was a chance I would have jumped on her. You see, when you find a wife she becomes your life-long companion.  She becomes your best friend.  You may lose your other best friend in the process but in my opinion it's worth the risk because this is your mate you're talking about.  Your male best friend is there for you when you break down on the side of the road and need some help fixing your car.  Your wife is there for you when you're at your worst emotionally, financially and even physically.  She's the one by your side while your suffering from depression, when you lost your job and the bills are racking up, she's the one at your bedside snoring away while you're lying in the hospital from a triple bypass! :)  In the grand scheme of things, her life and companionship is more valuable to you than that of your best friend.  It's a logical decision, don't let you emotions get in the way.     On a side note I'm sure every woman in here would disagree with me but that's okay. I am a man and I am logical. Hear me roar!
