Hey girl, where ya been?  How's life treating you after lapband?  I've been consulting my doc and my insurance company and it seems like they are going to pay for lapband.....still not sure about whether or not they will pay for the fills.  My daughter went to the doc last week and her doctor is telling her that RNY is easier and you will lose more in the long-term.  Hello?  Has he not been keeping up with the news that at the end of 5 years the weight loss is almost identical.....also, the last time I heard anything about it, I had heard that they will not do RNY on anyone under 21.  Not sure if she is even a good canidate for lapband either but don't completely make her decision for her.  I have asked my doc if she will take her as a patient and they are scheduling her for next week.  Don't forget to keep us updated.

Everything's going fine.  Losing weight still but slowly (I don't have much restriction right now because I only have 2cc's in my 10cc band). But my calories are seriously cut down and I'm doing good so far.  Thanks :)
