WW Weigh in!!!!
Try to think of or find something that weighs 14 pounds (maybe a Turkey) and heft it a few times and then think about the fact that you aren't carrying that around with you anymore. When I was a teenager we had a water softener in the basement that we used to have to fill with salt. The salt pellets came in 80 pound bags and I remember how heavy they were because I used to help him carry them down into the basement. This week I passed 75 pounds and realized that's nearly one of those bags I'm not carrying around with me every minute.
You're doing awesome ;) Keep up the good work!
Wow...Al, that's right! Being a grandma now, i often carry a fat baby on my back - like 15-20 pounds and after I remove them from my back, I'm like wow, so that's what carrying that weight feels like.
I often refer tot his one farmer guy i used to work with who had this saying: ya put a piece of dog crap under a man's hat and he'll get used to the smell. Pretty soon he'll forget it's there.
not sure how/why THAT came up, but it seemd pertinent there for a second...I'm outa here now!
