The First of Many I HOPE
Hey everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. Well I had my first official weigh in on my handy dandy scale and found I lost 4 pounds...YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of myself. It makes me really want to knuckle down even more. I know I won't always have a loss like this, but it really gets me ready to fight this battle. I had two bad days last week with my eating plan, but got right back to it and counted my calories. I also did my exercising...YEAH. It isn't as bad as I thought. Some days I did my Leslie Sansone 1 mile Walking Away the Pounds and others I walked around with my DB for hours at various stores.
It's funny my DB didn't count calories, nor eat veggies and fruit but still lost 6 pounds. It's true how men lose easier than women. He was cute when he said, "Honey your gonna be irritated" when he was weighing himself. I knew what that meant. I gave him a big ole kiss and told him how proud I was of his weight loss. He didn't exercise as I did, but he did watch more closely on his portion control.
I'm just so happy he and I are doing this together. It makes it so much easier to have him support and understand me better.
Anyway, just had to share my happy news.

Melinda, Congratulations to you! Yes, losing weight is a battle, but a worthwhile one! I'm so happy that this first loss is giving you the boost you need. If you haven't already, be sure to take your measurements on a regular basis. They will be a source of encouragement when the scale won't cooperate.
