  1. Saying grace – or even a thank you to those who helped get food on your plate - before eating a meal – how could it help you maintain self control for that meal?
  2. What is the most prominent family trait in your family tree? Do you have it?
  3. What is the last Non Scale Victory (NSV) you noticed during your new improved health plan for life?
  4. Is there a person in your life you fantasize about running into after you reach goal weight? What is the scenario that you fantasize about?
  5. Where is your next weekend getaway or vacation going to be? Do you prefer a set schedule when you get there or just hanging loose?

I have a busy day...will pop in when I can to answer these myself!

1.  I don't say grace. Eh.... 2.  You know I am not sure. ???? 3.  Smaller pant size 4.  I'm trying to think.  Oh my ex boyfriends friend. He was a jerk. I'd run into him and be like oh hey. I don't even know how the situation would play, just would like to sock him one though. :) 5.  Either North Carolina or California. I'm just going to hang loose no set plans just go with it and have a great time!!!!

1. I don't say grace or thank anyone for my food. I provided myself with that food by working my ass off to support my family.  I suppose it would be good to sit down before digging in and tell yourself that you will have control and you will not let this food control you. You will eat sensibly. Perhaps you should have said that before you even prepared the plate. 2.  My father's side was always very successful.  My mothers side was always very hard working but never well off. Obesity comes from my mothers side as well. 3.  Hmm.... I don't really keep track of these. Maybe it was when I got into a size 42. Nah, it was when I got to the 3rd hole on my 42" belt that wouldn't fit at all before.  Hole 2 is most comfortable. :) 4. I fantasize running into everyone I know and them bathing me in compliments and approval. Also fantasize about hot women wanting me and my wife getting jealous over it and having her way with me to show them up! hahah 5. I want to go back to Disney World again.  I definitely will want to have a loose agenda for the day. Nothing laid out in time but more or less something like MOnday - Epcot Center, Tuesday - Magic Kingdom.  etc.

Did you know me & DH are major blues fans, too?  I'd love to go to St. Louis to their big blues festival. Going to Chicago this summer and doin a blues cruise too!

1) I don't say grace either.  I just start to pig out.

2) Stubborness - Me, My Dad, My Grandparents, my Great Grandparents... All of us.  We're horrible.

3) People at my job telling me how much weight they can see off of me.  It happens almost every day.

4) Running into my father's friend Ralph who used to lecture me growing up on how unhealthy I was.  I'm sure he had good intent, but he was cruel about it and my health was none of his business.

5) Watkin's Glen, New York.  I'm going racing this weekend.

1.  We do say grace, at least before supper when we sit down to eat as a family (hubby, 4 kids and myself), but I have never thought about it helping me maintain self-control for that meal.  Very interesting--I'll think about that more this evening. 2.  Three brothers over 6 ft., 1niece 6 ft.  Two sisters and one niece 5'10"  and I am stuck down here at 5'2.5"  Nope, I didn't get it.  And like Janina's family we are all INCREDIBLY stubborn.  That I got. 3.  Just this last week people have started to comment that they can see I'm losing weight. 4.  I sort of fantasize about a whole big EXTREME Makeover Reveal party with my whole family present, especially my grandmother and others on my mom's side of the family who said or thought I was going to end up just like her. 5.  I think our next vacation is going to be in and around Branson, MO.  Silver Dollar City and stuff.  My husband being who he is, it will definitely be a fairly set schedule.

1. I say grace with my family at dinner.  I do thank Jesus for helping me stay focused and to please help my salad weeds to taste like ribs and mac and cheese. 2. Obesity reigns strong in this family and yes I got it.  3. I fit at a booth in a restaurant.  It was exciting for me.  My husband and I toasted to my victory. Such an insignificant thing for most people but for the obese its a challenge. 4. My ex.  I will be all dolled up and looking good and his jaw will drop.   5. Camping somewhere in the mountains.  Hang loose, fish, hike and just relax.

1.  I don't know.  I say grace at big meals like Thanksgiving, so perhaps counter productive to your question??  LOL 2.  Probably big thighs, and HELL yeah.   I didn't get the big nose, so I'm halfway okay with it. 3.  There haven't been too many Scale Victory's so they better all be NSV's!  I'd say making it through the last year and only gaining 12 pounds back! 4.  No, not really.  I do like to run into people that haven't seen me in a long time though. 5.  A campout with a large group of friends.  Totally hanging loose.
