I know--- boo hoo, right? But I was losing really well--- since late February (more or less) I've gone from 368 pounds to 337. Each week I knocked down a couple more calories and added a little more exercise, so that right now, I am eating about 1300 cals a day (with extra protein, low fat) and either water jogging, walking, or free weights with a stability ball 5x a week. And the payoff for this extra push? I gained 1.4 pounds, as of yesterday.  Do that thing you do, people. Tell me, "Hey, that's nothin'!" and "Don't worry, it'll start up again!"

I can do that : )  Since late February--so that really means all of March and all of April and you have lost,  31 pounds?!?!?!?!?   That's fantastic.  What 4 pounds a week or so?  You are doing great.  Is it that time of the month?  I can gain as much as 5 and then the next week it's all gone plus a couple more.  Just hang in there.  Weight loss doesn't always happen in a straight line on a graph, sometimes there's a little, and I do mean little in your case, spike, but the downward trend will continue.  Just keep on keeping on.  31 pound in two months, Man, I wish I could do that.  Keep exercising and eating right and yep, your weight loss will start up again..

How long are your exercise sessions?  There are many reasons that  you could have gained. Most of them have been listed already.  It could have been a muscle gain from the exercise, it could be water retention, could even be that your body is holding on to the fat for energy because it thinks it's starving.  You can't do much about any of those except the fat storage. You could try increasing your intake to 1400 calories and see if that helps. But if you're like me you probably think of you eat more it's going to make you gain more so that might not be an option for you.  Perhaps you're on a plateau?  There are several plateau buster diets out there. You could try a 3 day liquid diet to get the ball rolling downhill again.   Wish I could be more help!  I probably shouldn't have even posted this time but you know I can't resist! lol
