To tell the truth, i liked fitday better - it has a sister site called dietfacts.com that has a multitude of store/retsaurant items that can be dropped into fitday. WW's online program costs $39 for three months, not exactly highway robbery, but fitday is free.  I'm doing ww cuz of the weigh ins, mainly.  The site tracks your points for you, then puts in in a weekly spread.  (fitday does too but does it %fat/prtein/carbs and calories).  Also tracks your weight - like fitday too. One can do the core plan too, but points allows eating of most realistic foods for me.  I am committing to WW for 6 months, no matter what.  After that, i may go back to fitday and join TOPS - you inspired me that way! TOPS is way cheaper.

Hmm.. Well I suppose I won't be doing the WW thing then. At least not where I pay for it since I get all the same benefits from Tops.  I am interested in learning more about the points system though.  Plus I see a LOT of quick and easy WW meals throughout the grocery store that have the points listed so that would make it really convenient.  I thought you were doing the core plan? Did you switch to points? I'm probably just confused. Aww, I love being an inspiration! Heheh!  Tops has been great.  You know me and my commitment issues to routine.  The one a week thing is nice because it's not a burden.  Now if I can just get my butt to commit to my school work I'd be done already!

i think an old blog says i woudl do core plan, but i had to face facts that i eat **** like hamburger helper, not exactly a core food, more than i should.

hahah! I used to live off of that stuff! My wife absolutely hates it and I've grown to dislike it as well.  I had some of the microwaveable kind for lunch yesterday and was SO not impressed. yech!  Nonetheless I eat other things that probably aren't on the core plan like hot dogs, chicken wings, mexican, etc.. :)

I think you would get 40 points a day on WW - I get 23 (go crazy on that, just try!) Every ten pounds down you lose a point.

That goes hand in hand with the BMR and TDEE I was talking about previously. Hmmm, there's a conspiracy going on here!!
