a better day
thanks to everyone *****sponded to me yesterday. things have been a bit better today - my PS called this morning and took off $2750, which honestly is better than i expected. i am scheduled for june 1. my trainer came to where i live and we did some jogging and other exercises (using tubes/medicine ball) out on one of the trails near me. it was nice to do something different - and it saved me the trauma of having to go back to the internsection where i had my accident. i also found out that due to good insurance and some luck, i was able to rent a mercedes (as opposed to a chevy malibu or a tiny kia) which makes me feel a little safer about getting back to driving. i have to go to work tomorrow, so that will be my first big test.
ah neecee i wish i could slow down, but alas, this is not possible. i have to move down to Clemson, SC to start my internship in july, so everything is pretty compacted into the next month or two. i'll have about 6 weeks between PS and moving. a little more if i need it - my lease starts july 10 but internship doesn't start until august 1. anyone know anyone who wants to rent my condo in DC for the year??? i'm also going to CA may 12-17 with my sister. exciting as i've never been out west. and then i'm going to the back to the DFC for a week before my surgery to get all healthy feeling and stuff.
weirdly, i did not hear from any insurance people today. yesterday i got like 5 calls, including from the other guys insurance man. i am happy he didn't call me back as i really don't care to talk to him.
thanks again for all of your guys' support. i know there will always be ups and downs and trials to get through, but its nice to have somewhere to put it all out there.
