So tonight I am going to make some turkey burger chili so it will last me a couple of days or so for lunch and dinner....I could live off of chili. Anyone have any recipes for some chili? It could be vegetarian, with beef, with chicken, turkey, anything I like everything. So post away, I love recipes! ---Christa

It's cool that you asked for this because I have a good one for you. I made a new chili recipe this past week and all I can say is OMG. I am like you and could live off of it. It is super easy and low fat too. I got it off the weigh****chers message board. Pineapple Chili 8 oz tomato sauce 1 jar Newman's Own Pinapple Salsa 1 pound ground beef browned in the skillet 1 TB chili powder 1 onion and bell pepper chopped(if I remember correctly you don't like green peppers so you could easily leave it out) 1 cup water 2 cans kidney beans -Combine all ingredients and simmer till onion and pepper are soft. Hope you like it as much as me! Candy

OOooo I will have to try this one next week. Yummy. I dislike green peppers, but the only way I eat them is in chili because I can't really taste them.  But this recipe sounds great. I'll give it a try Thanks!!!

I forgot to add make sure you drain and rinse the beans first but you might have already known that. Trust me you will love this stuff... Candy

Brown turkey meat in skillet.  Into the same skillet, toss 1 biggo onion chopped , fresh garlic to taste, and 1 bell pepper. let cook on low for about 5 minutes.  Add in jalapenos here if you eat them - I add up to three of them! Top with chili powder , at least 1 teaspoon cumin to taste. Add:  1 can tomato paste 1 can tomatoes, diced 1 can kidney beans, drained 1 can pintos or pinquitos, drained Cook for at least 30 minutes, but an hour is better.  If you need to add a bit of water, do it lightly.  I like mine thick!  Truthfully, very lean ground beef is the shizzy in this.  Ground turkey may not be lower in fat - read the label!
