lost then cheated
Hi Randi,
ROFL at your Long Goodbye!
While the calories might have put you over the top, at least the food choice was a good one. (Most people don't become obese having steak binges. :-) So I'd say it's only a minor set-back cause you didn't carb binge and set yourself up for days of intense cravings.
So pick yourself up (dump any guilt), examine your plan and what triggered you to do it, and then work your new and adjusted plan! Successful weight loss is always 3 steps forward 2 steps back for most people. It's just a matter of sticking with it even AFTER we "sin." :-)
Randi - i've told you a hundred million times - stop exaggerating! You did NOT eat a TON of steak!
Okay, feel better? Now let's just move on!
I had kind of a rough weekend myself. I doubt i gained, but I did not lose. Not many veggies, no fruit, sigh...more bread than I've eaten in a while, white bread.
No bike ride, woke up yesterday feeling achy and sore throat, so decided to take it easy, only a walk to the park. Only some major housecleaning on Saturday.
Everybody - back to work!
Hi Janina,
I vote for pudding! :-) I've been on a pudding kick recently and eat the entire fat-free/sugar-free box when I do (mixed with skim milk of course). I love the butterscoth, banana, pistachio, and cheesecake flavors. Haven't tried the chocolate yet, and oddly enough I didn't care too much for the lemon even though lemon-flavored anything (chicken/cake/whatever) is usually my favorite.
