1) I'm not superstitious about Friday the 13th.  Don't know why; I'm superstitious about everything else...

2) Walking in front of a black kitty.  I like kitties.

3) Lawrys Garlic Salt.  The best on chicken

4) I got 72 words a minute with 75% accuracy.  Not too shabby.

5) I don't.  I'm too scared they'll find out about my lie.

1. I don't fear anything about the day but Paraskevidekatriaphobics do.  Look that one up! haha Anyways, I think my favorite superstition is how almost all skyscrapers or high-rise buildings do not have a 13th floor.  That one has inspired several books and movies! 2. I'd go for the black cat. I'd pet him and hug him and squeeze him and feed him my tuna!  I don't think I can fit under the ladder! hahah 3. I really like Cavenders Greek Seasoning when baking my chicken. If I'm grilling it I love Bull's Eye BBQ sauce, original. 4. 96 wpm with 98% accuracy.  I used to be faster but I've gotten used to typing code or my thoughts. It's difficult to go back to typing what I read. 5. I used to lie when my history didn't look good, but now I no longer have to do that. I always lied about tenure. I had a habit of jumping jobs whenever I got tired of one or when someone made me mad. Learned to eat crow over the years! :)

What's your favorite or most fearful superstition related to Friday 13th?  Not, always been a pretty good day in my life, both my father-n-law and nephew were born on Friday the 13th.  As a matter of fact if FIL were still here, today would be his b-day. 2. If you had to choose between walking under a ladder or crossing in front of a black cat which would you do?  Balck cats do not bother me, though my husband is bad about the black cat thing, 365 days a year.  Like Chris, I probably would'bt fit under the ladder.  LOL 3. It can be a simple spice like garlic or a more combination of spices like italian seasoning or perhaps a particular brand of seasoning.  I like Rosemary, Pampered Chef's Italian seasoning, or Mrs. Dash's Lemon pepper,  I like chicken any way you want to fix it. 4. Do you lie about your work history, education, etc on your resume or job application? No, I don't lie on it....since I work for the gov't, they have really cracked down on that as far as accredited universities and the like....BUT, I do re-work my resume to play up the strengths that relate to the job I am applying for.  I worked in the carrer services office at the university I attended, and that was my boss's favorite pitch; you don't just create a resume and send it out to every job you apply for....write it to fit the particular job you are interested in, even if you include skills not work related , that you acquired elsewhere to include volunteer work.  IT MUST WORK I GOT SELECTED FOR THIS JOB.....LOL

1. Not at all superstitious...which is kind of ironic since I tend to write about the supernatural in my fiction. LOL   2. I'd walk in front of the cat because I've had so many different things fall on me in the past! 3. I don't even know what it's called, but it's that pre-made seasoning mix for chicken in the little foil packets at the grocery store. 4. 50 wpm with 97% accuracy (with the 3 fingers I hunt and peck with :-) 5. Not unless you count lying by omission ;-)...but seriously, I think lying on a resume/application in my field would be an invitation to disaster

I was raised by an Italian mother who filled my head with ALL KINDS of superstitions, and I fight them daily. Specifically related to 13th, not really, but I am more conscious of bad things to go wrong this day.  And I hate that, I am of the Law of Attraction mind, and I don't like "attracting" bad luck by giving it air time in my head! Dammit MOM! I do try to focus on the 13th letter of the alphabet thing:  letter M for marijuana, so it could be a cool day. Also, like Charlie Brown, I think getting more than my share of bad luck is kind of funny in a Denise-way.  But I am sick. 2. Walking under ladders is a bad idea duh.  Plus I don't fit under ladders very well. 3. What is your favorite spice to use on chicken? Um, I am an adult untrainable typist.  I failed it in high school, I took it TWICE as an adult. I am the world's fastest one fingered typist! It is funny. 5. Do you lie about your work history, education, etc on your resume or job application? Not yet. But I might start!

I had previously said something to the affect of I would include a word when I did the questions and the first person to get it right wins self-gratitude. :)   Perhaps I should start doing a daily or weekly word in a seperate post?

1.  I'm not its actually a lucky day for me....I've always won something on that day.....today it was $50 on a scratcher....maybe I'll go to the boats!

1. I am not really superstitious.  Just another day for me.  I did eat bad today.  Can I blame that on it being Friday the 13th.  Yeah thats it.  It wasn't really my fault.  It was an evil presence in my house that sabotaged me.   2. Here kitty kitty.   You want some kitty kibble?  I love cats.  I have a big huge lover of a cat named Stinky.  He is my baby.  He weighs 25 pounds.  It see a pattern of all things in my life being big.  He sleeps right next to me with his nose to my nose and he snores.  He will get in the bathtub with me and balance himself on my lap so he doesn't get wet.  He is so funny.  He makes me happy.   3. I like garlic or onion pepper.  Oh and I love Bulls Eye barbecue sauce too.  Hands down the best.  Love it on baby back ribs too.  4. I typed 57 wpm with 6 errors.  I need to practice some more.   5. I used to work in law enforcement as a 911 dispatcher.  They do a pretty thorough back ground check on you.  If anything I just exaggerate a liitle on some things.  Gotta sell yourself. 

 

1.  Uhm I don't believe in superstition ok well not Friday the 13th stuff.  Like I do believe in some superstition for instance, before every game my good friend my catcher would kiss the softball before I pitched every inning. If she didn't kiss it everything would go to hell we thought. But she always did kiss it, and I played on travelt eams with out the kisses lol.  2.  Umm we have two black cats at work that live there....and I will walk under ladders anytime.  3.  Chicken Chicken...I like  all seasonings hehe. Garlic, Mrs. Dash, Lawrys, anything I'm not picky. 4.  I don't want to take it hehe....I actually type really fast, my mother the other day yelled from her office..."Do you think you could push those keys any faster GEEZ!" I laughed I was going like amillion a minute. Maybe I will take it later.... 5.  Actually no I don't I tell the truth. I'm still young and only had uh...3 major jobs.
