Easter Confessions - right here
Hi Neecee, I am a way old-timer who lurks my old haunt ocassionally. Nice to meet you. There is absoutely no candy in my house this Easter. Not a lone chocolate egg, not a resees nothing. Just protein and vegetables. I figured the kids (14 and 17) don't need it, and I certainly don't need it, so there.
Good luck making it through the rest of the day!!

I did okay this weekend. The best news is I'm not stressing over my goof ups. Saturday the wife and I went out for a milkshake because she mentioned it and then something went off in my head and forced my body to drive all the way to the ice cream place! OMG, I was possessed! hahah Anyways, I got a Butterfinger Twister which is french vanilla yogurt with heavenly butterfinger in it. YUM! I ordered a small and ate about 1/2 of it. Later that night the wife got into my rice cakes and brought the bag into the living room and left it near me. Somehow I ate the whole bag! Wonder how that happens eh?? :) Oh well, at least it was better than a bag of chips. On Sunday, my brother and sister came over with the kids so we decided to cook out. It was warm enough to fire up the grill so we had BBQ chicken breast and legs, bratwurst, hotdogs along with mac-n-cheese, pasta salad and baked beans. I had 1 leg and about a 1/4 of a chicken breast with a spoonful of each side, a brat and a hotdog. Lol, over did it just a lil bit there but hey, I had about 300 calories earlier that day and that's it. So I ain't stressing! Stepped on the scales this morning at I'm at 303 lbs which is still a loss. My official weigh-in is Tuesday so I'll wait till then to officially call it a loss! I also went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of 100-calorie snack packs and rice cakes for work. The wife got sick so I didn't have time to finish shopping but I've got my breakfast items and my snack food so I'm good to go for this week breakfast wise. Had peaches and cream oatmeal this morning, 2 packs 240 calories, for breakfast. It was wonderful! I also have some Kashi cereal. Want to get some low-sodium bacon and egg whites for those mornings when I actually wake up on time!
