Getting back on track

Im currently with LA Weightloss and although it is a good program I think (Makes me cook, think about portion sizes and the importance of fruits and veggies) Ive fallen short. I havent been to the center for a weigh-in a  week. Uh.... almost two weeks and I really need to get it together. I had lost 8lbs before I stopped and went AWOL. So today as another baby step I went to the library and got a taebo dvd and walking away the pounds. Just a note- havent been exercising at all. So I hope this along with me keeping only good things in the house will help me get back on track. Why does it seem like whenever Im doing good, I sabotage myself? So basically thats it. Im getting back on track and once I send this post out, I cant gooo back! Lol.

It will be okay in the end. If it's not okay.... it's not the end!

Hiya,      That's the spirit!  I find that exercise is one of my best motivators for staying on track and getting back on track when I fall off, so maybe those dvd's will help re-motivate you.  :-)  And I think most of us self-sabotage...I know I do every time I'm about to hit an important milestone.  I'm on pins and needles to see if I can actually get through Easter tomorrow without a binge since I'm getting so close to a normal BMI.      Oh, and I bought a set of TaeBo dvd's a couple years ago that I haven't even looked at. LOL  Let me know if they're good, and I'll go dig mine out.  I need to add some variety to my exercise habits.      Now get yourself to LA Weightloss, and say hi! ;-)

"Why does it seem like whenever Im doing good, I sabotage myself?"

Cuz it's all part of forming new habits! You will lose your taste for cruddy food and sloth-dom, you really will. But getting there is very challenging.   Statistics show most of us bail out long before we ever get past the whoopsies. Don't bail, keep on posting, keep on trying, getting back on the horse, even if you fall off many more times.  it's the only way.  I just got back from vacation, so tell me about it! I am climbing back up on my horse too.  I don't have too much damage control to do, I did pretty good while i was gone. But still, I will be shocked if i lost an ounce. Or gained too much for that matter, maybe a pound or two, and i can deal widdat.  We'll see, not looking on the scale til next week. Also my TOM, getting started, I know I am bloaty. So glad you're here - help keep us all going by holding hands!
