Hi there.  I just got back from my walk.  It feels good.  For dinner I had boneless skinless chicken tenderloins, steamed broccoli, sliced tomatoes and some organic black beans.  Very healthy meal for me.  I want to have a good weekend.  I weigh on Monday at the doctor.  Hoping to make the 100 pounds lost goal.  Have a great weekend and stay focused on your goals.  We can do this.

Great to hear feom someone, I missed my walk today; had to put my car in the shop.  My mom and I had already set a time to go and then they called for me to come pick up my car.  Spent the rest of the day being a taxi.  Going to work out a little tonight and get up and walk int the morning.  Sure wish I was looking at that 100 lb mark, but hey I gotta start somewhere.

Mmmm I had 9 hot wings.  That's down at least 15-20 wings from what I used to eat. :)  Next time I decide to have wings, I'll eat slower and drink more water. It's Friday night and I spent it on the couch again... Ahh well, I've got plenty to do this weekend in the yard. Looking forward to the exercise, err uhmm getting dirty.  I'm still having to disguise my exercise as fun activities. :)  I'll get there one day though!

Weekends are always hard for me to stay on track.  I do pretty well during the week because I have a schedule for work and just work everything in as I can, but I'm really use to relaxing on the week-end and that doesn't help for the feeding craze either. (maybe I should say graze).  LOL

Wish I'd been around! We had a rough day around here. My DH father passed away yesterday. He was 87 and had lived a beautiful life. But still, hard to let such a gentle man go. For now, DH has decided to go to his mother's house for the week.  the plane tickets were pretty high, and there will be lots of trips to come as we will need to move mother out of that big house by herself.  My work will start then helping her pack and move.

Hi Everyone!  Neecee, sorry to hear about your loss.  :( this has been a pretty bad weekend for me eating wise... self control went totally out the window.  Fri went out for a fish fry, instead of fried fish, I had broiled with a baked potato, so that wasn't bad...what was bad was the New England clam chowder and 2 stuffed clams I had Saturday is not even worth posting... I'm so ashamed of myself, that it is not even funny. Today will hopefully be a better day.

Sorry about your loss!  I just went through the same thing last weekend and this week. My wife's grandmother passed away just after she had surgery to remove a clot in her corotoid artery.  I don't remember how old she was but I know it was at least 80.  She was one of those hardcore grandmas with the great sense of humor.  It's a shame to see her go but she's got a better body now.  Let us know if we can help you in any way! Don't beat yourself up jasmer! It's okay!  You'll get back on track. The important thing is to learn what you did wrong. I don't know about other people on this board but I eat what I want when I want it. I just don't eat as much as I want.  I love fried fish, I love mexican even more! I learned that foods like this trigger my overeating because of the taste.   Today the wife and I went for mexican. I had my chips, cheese dip and salsa and a chicken peluza (grilled chicken, sauteed onions, bellpepper tomatoes and cheese) I ate about  one to two handfuls of chips dipped in the salsa/cheese and about 15 forkfuls of the peluza. In between each chip I'd sip water. In between each bite I'd put down my fork and drink some water. Made sure I chewed up each bite. See I just try to eat slower, realize when I'm full and therefore eat less. The water helps to fill me up faster. So just think back over what you did this weekend and try to think of ways that you can change how you ate moreso than what you ate. And remember.... one meal or even a day's worth of meals isn't going to kill you or put on an excessive amount of weight. Just move on to your next meal and make it count.
