Abstinence - Day 23
Does it get easier as I go along? As long as I keep doing my OA program and praying for abstinence every day, and keep using the tools of the program, I breeze along with my abstinence.

Denise Phares
Heya Denise,
Yeah, I find that if I do something for 2-3 weeks straight, it starts to become much easier for me. So it takes a much stronger trigger to get me to binge.
Anyway, here's my plan for today (Thursday 3-8):
6:00 am - South Beach protein bar
8:30 am - fish sticks (leftover from Caitlin's breakfast)
11:00 am - South Beach wraps
1:30 pm - Schwan's diet chicken pizza
4:00 pm - Caesar salad
6:30 pm - Caesar salad
I asked the basement crew to take today and tomorrow off, so they won't be back till Monday (my lungs were hurting at the gym last night from the mold exposure). I frankly needed some time off before we tackle the last area of clearing this weekend: the reef tank area. Ugh! I bet it will take a whole day just to break the 200-gallon tank down, a day to remove all the fish junk, and probably half a day to break the 75-gallon tank down. (Then I get to look forward to putting the whole set-up back together after they are finished decontaminating the basement.)
So today is a leisurely day for me...I finally get to treadmill, sit down and pay bills, run some errands, go to some teacher conferences this evening, etc.... Am shooting for 120 oz. of water today since I'm not so busy. Might try to fit a third gym visit in this week on Friday while I have some time off. Better do some more CME tomorrow too. :-(
