Heya Denise,      My Wednesday definitely wouldn't have counted as an "abstinence" day.  Yesterday was my husband's 42nd birthday, but everything I had planned for it wasn't food related.  All of the first part of my day went fine: 6:00 - South Beach protein bar 8:30 - part of leftover Canadian bacon pizza slice from Brendan's breakfast 11:00 - Schwan's diet chicken pizza 1:30 - Zone Perfect protein bar      Then things started falling apart.  I didn't have time to grab my 4:00 snack before I hit the gym from 4:30-6:30 which is always a bad thing.  And then I had to stop by a store to get my husband's birthday present before making the half hour drive home.  So by the time I walked in the door at 7:45, I was RAVENOUS.  My plan had been a giant Caesar salad as soon as I got home.  But what do I see as I walk into the kitchen?  My sister-in-law decided to "help us out" by bringing over a few edible gifts.  LOL  My counter sported a tray of enormous chicken enchiladas with all the fixings (sour cream, etc...) that had to have been the highest fat ones I've ever had, the largest Boston Cream pie I've ever seen (it was literally like 10" tall), and a chocolate birthday cake that could have served 50 wedding-size pieces.  (There are only 5 of us in the house.)  Needless to say, I ate myself into a food-induced coma-like state.  Ugh!      I'm still so nauseous this morning, I have no hunger whatsoever.  I had been only .5 pounds for the last two days from my Monday goal of 162#, but I was afraid to weigh this morning! LOL  I'm making Mark take the remaining enchiladas and cake to school with him this morning so that it's out of the house, and I think I will feel sick enough to avoid the pie till he can get rid of that tonight.  At least March doesn't contain any birthdays for us or food-related holidays! :-) Julie (who's getting on the treadmill as soon as I get the kids to school to try to burn some of this off)

Hi Gals Since this appears to be confession time, i can unload mine:  last night i went where it was slippery.  I TASTED a cookie/candy thing I made for DH.  i had like 3 pieces before it was all over.  I am such a dork.  I knew it was the wrong choice when I put it to my mouth.  One the bright side, It was a good thing to happen before a trip.  Perhaps i will think ahead a bit before indulging more readily.

That cost me 4 of 35 points extra for this weekend in Washington DC. I will learn!
