NSV's - we should post these more often!

Eating right and exercising has MANY non-scale victories (NSV), does it not? Let's try to post those more often. What do you say?

Neecee I was thinking of posting a similiar idea. I was thinking that we do like a monthly goal thing for motivation. It could be anything from reciting an affirmation at least one day of the month to increasing your workout by 10 minutes. It would be small,achievable, and encouraging. With so many of us getting depressed by the scale lately, we need to find something to uplift us that isn't related. Be Blessed

Yes! I do my own Just for today most days: no dessert just for today, or increase my exercise 15 minutes just for today, etc. Just so it contributes positively to my health. let's do our best!

Hi Cammy and Neecee, I'll set a NSV goal for the end of the month. I have a favorite pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear since I'd gotten below 160 in the spring of 2005. They're a really small-cut 10, and I fully intend to fit into them by the time we run out of February. It is probably the single piece in my entire wardrobe that I'd most like to fit into again.
