Sleepy abstinence day 4

I got up at 2:00 a.m. this morning to have breakfast. Breakfast 1 banana 1/4 cup scrambled egg substitute 1 cup shredded wheat 1+ cups 1% milk 1 mug coffee 2 cups water Lunch 2 pita breads with spinach, 3 slices tomato, 6 slices chicken lunch meat, 1 slice American cheese, 1 tsp. salad dressing 1 apple 6 oz. low sugar, nonfat yogurt with fruit 2 cups water Dinner 1 cup Red Wine Beef (from crockpot) 1 cup whole wheat pasta 1 can vegetable soup 1/2 can pineapple chunks Crystal Light peach ice tea Denise Phares

Hi Denise, I was up at 3:00 a.m. but only cause I drank too much water close to bedtime. Here's how my day is shaping up: Breakfast and Brunch - both meals were Caitlin's leftover fish sticks cause she hardly ate any of her breakfast Lunch - South Beach sesame chicken wrap Afternoon snack and Dinner - will probably both be Caesar salads cause I was so short on veggies over the weekend I'm way ahead on my water for once (have already done 80 oz by lunchtime), so I'll probably have gotten in 120-140 oz by the time I go to bed. Treadmilled this morning for 52 minutes but am having urges to do it again this afternoon (I think I'm having housework avoidance). Feeling kind of compulsive, so I need to watch myself for the rest of the day. Probably trying out my new exercise ball would be better for me than treadmilling again. Anyway, grats on another good abstinence day. Julie

You both sound on the right track! Good job! Yesterday was a great day AND I even had a bit of dessert last night. Today so far: soy protein + 1/2 c OJ lo carb bar - 150 cal/15 g protein fruit drink 80 cals/15 g protein hi pro soup + 1 c steamed zuccini and onions soy chips PM snack: hi pro cappacino supper: hi protein noodles + turkey sausage sauce + french bread + butter + salad Exercise: 100 ball crunches, 45 min walk/wog
