Arctic Monday - Abstinence Day 3
Someone wondered what "diet" group I go to. I go to a Twelve Step group known as Overeaters Anonymous. I work a program, and I am using a diabetic food plan that is 1600 calories as my abstinent food plan. Abstinence is defined as refraining, one day at a time, from compulsive overeating. My abstinence is 3-0-1, or three moderate meals a day, with nothing in between, and as little junk food as possible.

Hi all,
My Monday went as follows:
Breakfast - Caitlin's leftover fish sticks
Brunch - South Beach protein bar
Lunch - South Beach turkey/ham wrap
Afternoon Snack - Caesar salad
Dinner - Caesar salad
Chased by 100 oz of water during the day...first half of the day treadmilled for 52 minutes....second half of the day 2 hours at the gym (elliptical/weight machines/bikes). Monday and Wednesday are always my heavy exercise days where I try to shock my body (I go to the gym while I'm waiting for Caitlin who's at Sylvan). Today it's back to just my regular treadmill though.
So really the only thing I didn't accomplish yesterday was trying 2 new foods (only got in 1). At least I didn't consume more than 1 protein bar. And today should be a relatively calm day, so hopefully things will go well.
