Monday - MLK Day
I have the day off! I am planning to do some restorative yoga this morning. I need this, i think. My mood is just not great, TOM, menopause, etc. One thing good - i did not rebel by eating crap! I have been exercising like crazy really.
GS's and daughters will come over today, so it will be a leisurely walk to park later.
Food for today:
bariatric routine all day (hi protein every 2-3 hours)
tonight: short ribs, mashed potatoes, veggies of some kind
JFT: I will conduct myself as someone who intends to lose 6 pounds this month.

I know what you mean about that TOM. I get really irritable and explosive for almost a week before, but I do think exercise helps with it a bit.
Anyway, here's how my day went:
Breakfast - protein bar
Brunch - protein bar
Lunch - Lean Cuisine meal
Afternoon snack - protein bar (can you say, "protein bar rut" )
Dinner - unsalted nuts
Got in my 100 oz of water and had a heavy exercise day today...55 minutes on my treadmill early and then 2 hours at the gym this evening on the elliptical, both style bikes, and the weight machines.
My resolution for tomorrow is to get some fruits and vegetables in. And tomorrow may be a bit rough cause I usually liike to be asleep by 9 or 10 and tonight it's probably going to be between 2 and 3 when I get to go to bed, so we'll see what sort of havoc that lack of sleep is going to play with me tomorrow mentally and physically.
And grats on your day off and not resorting to emotional eating!!!
