Oy vay!
Hi Denise,
Ouch! I love Xmas but dread what it does to my self-control each year.
Literally the day after Xmas I was back in 95% control though, so I'm actually 5# lighter than I was Xmas day. It's like a big stressor gets lifted for me, and I can go back to being in control.
I find accountability helps me stay on track a great deal, so you might try checking in here often and owning up to what you're eating/drinking/burning off in exercise each day. Seeing it in black-and-white can really help make it real.
Just make sure to add in the water and exercise to go along with the calorie restriction.

Hi all. Christmas was bad for me too. I didnt lose any weight BUT i didnt gain any either. I really need to start working out. That is the key to my weightloss. I just cant seem toget motivated to do it. I know I need it. I just keep making excuses. Whats hard for me right now is that all my friends (literally) are having WLS. One is going in tomorrow. I feel like a fat cow and its really stressing me out. I mean its I dont want to have surgery. I like to feel like I have control over what I eat BUT to lose weight that fast would be awesome. Oh well. Guess I have to come to terms with it and stop being the green eyed monster. Take care!!
