Hit my first major goal on 12-20-06

I am finally in the 240's!!!!!!! I weighted 248# on 12-20-06 and I weight 247# now. I am so excited to be losing I have not been in the 240's since right after I had my two year old!!! I am losing more up top than bottom, so I have gone from a 22W Jacket down to a 16W!!!! Praise the Lord!

That is kinda complicated and I have learned a lot from my body and my God. I had gotten out of control and totally unable to say no to food ever. It was scary to me that my flesh had that much control on any area of my life. Then I was reading a book on life goals by Peter Daniels an awesome man of God and I set a goal that I wanted to be healthy. I had done similar to this in 2002 and lost 80 pounds. (I would not necessarily recommend that anyone else do it)......but I fast from waking up until 12noon have lunch, then I try to eat again at 3 and lastly no later than 7pm. I usually do not eat after 7pm. Almost immediately I noticed a difference in my appetite and I regained the sensation of true hunger. I also make healthier choices no matter where I am eating. I have almost completely lost my taste for fried food. I take Viactive chewable multivitamin at noon and a liquid multi at the evening meal just to help make sure my body is getting what it needs. I listen to the Holy Spirit who knows all things and try to follow. I don't have any forbidden foods I just seek God not to ever overdo it and if I do to learn from that experience. I realize that this is not the norm but it works for me. I feel great and i am losing.....All glory be to God for I can do nothing in my own strength!
You are doing awesome girl! Keep up the good work!! It good to know that there are other non-ops out there!

Congratulations on your loss!!!! I also remember how exciting it was to drop down into each new number.
I, too, refrain from eating at night. It was a trigger time for me to just consume calories when I wasn't even hungry. It was instrumental in my losing the last 50 or 60 pounds.

I am not there with the exercise....I am having trouble finding time to do it however i try to get it in in different ways like parking further from the door at the store. Going to the Supercenter and walking around for a while. And any other extra movement I can do. But I would like to get a routine down.
