Has anyone ever tried this? If so, how did it work out for you. How much was it, etc. etc. Details please.

I've actually never heard of this, what does it do exactly?

Ok, I did some research on it to help you out. http://gastroenterology.jwatch.org/cgi/content/full/2005/301/1 is a website with an interesting article. In my opinion it seems like a such a hassle. It has to be replaced every few months, pending any complications. Whatever you decided. Good luck.

I had a balloon fitted on 25 December 2006 in Marrakech- Morocco - I am doing really well - I had a quick recovery and have lost 24 pounds in less than 3 weeks. Balloons are great! Very Easy - with no special diet and I was eating normally 2 days after and the weight is falling off!!!! It only cost £1000 in total. It needs to be changed every 6-9 months and in the UK the average price for this procedure is £5,000 Go for it - It's much cheaper and less dangerous than surgery. Good Luck Angela
