crystal light ??
Hi everyone!
I have a question about fluid intake. I am NOT a big fan of water. If it's not heavily iced, it makes me gag.I am trying to increase my consumption of fluids (mainly something water like) So, I bought some crystal light. I saw that it has no calories, fat, etc. So I was curious if it is just as good/equal to water? I have tried every flavored water that has ever existed. The after taste is

Crystal Light has very few calories, and has a good flavor. I use it for ice tea alot. I know what you mean by flavored water. It tastes yucky. I don't like it, either. I suppose if you used just a little bit of crystal light, it would be OK. Try it, anyway. I know some people just can't stand plain water. I happen to love it, myself, but that's me.

Someone asked me this very question the other day. My water consumption consists of at least 125 ounces a day. Some is straigh****er but I really can get tired of regular water so I flavor it. I do not like the full strength taste of crystal lite or any other flavored water, so I dilute it. I take a 25 oz bottle of water and drink half. I am very fond of sugar free tropicana lemonade so I buy them in the 2 liter bottles. I do half that and half water. The taste is great and it's still half water.
I find that drinking tea doesn't work for me. The caffeine in tea tends to dehydrate me so I actually get thirstier, and it really doesn't work.
One other suggestion is that when you are really thirsty to drink as much as you can at one time. At the gym I consume usually two bottles of straigh****er. It's a lot easier when you are thirsty.
