body for life?
so i went to see a new trainer at the gold's today as my regular trainer is out on maternity leave and i'm ready to get back into strength training after my recent PS. i'm not too keen on using random trainers without a lot of experience but i was able to get a special deal for 12 sessions. anyway, she was all into this body for life program and wants to train me 3 times a week as part of it. she says she gets really good results. just wondering if anyone knows anything about this program or has done it before? i'm used to working with a PT twice a week but she says you can't get the great results that way. is this just another bogus sort of fad program?
i'm not really looking for specific results or to lose more weight but thought it might be interesting to give it a try until regular trainer comes back. plus after the 12 sessions, this trainer goes up to $85 which is completely ludicrous for her level of education and lack of experience but that's a whole other issue....
any thoughts?
My brother in law is a manager at a Vitamin Shoppe down here and they had a company wide challenge with the Body 4 Life system, to see who could lose the most weight, while he didnt win he DID loose quite a bit of weight and firmed himself up alot also, And since then he has been eating quite a bit healthier, just making wiser choices. It is a good system and does work, without starving yourself. Give it a try hey any weight you can loose Before WLS is weight you wont have to loose after Kinda like hitting the ground running !
