Hi everyone...
Guess this is the S L O W season or something... everyone that I know, including myself, seems to be at a stand-still with their weight-loss right now. Maybe it has something to do with the earth's orbit around the sun or something... yeah, that sounds good...
Anyways... I'm holding strong at 153... no change from last week, up or down. I think I'll just see if I can maintain for the rest of August, and kickstart a new regimen come September. I think my body just needs to catch up to itself... afterall, I was up around 200 lbs during Christmas time.
On a GOOD note... I went shopping at Old Navy today for the first time in a LONG time. I used to wear size 20 pants from Old Navy... and the last time I was there, I was wearing a size 16. Well today, I was able to buy my FIRST EVER SINGLE sized pants.... EVER!!! I bougt a pair of size 8's that fit marvelously! I couldn't beleive it...
Well that's all I have to say for this week's weigh-in...
Starting: 250
1/1/06: 188
Goal: 140

Hey CJ,
Yup, same ole' same ole'. I think my body has discovered the weight it wants to torment me at. LOL 215. Just hanging out at 215. I've seen as low as 211, and lately as high as 220. So heck, is it over???????????
I'm very happy in the clothes I am wearing though, so it's good. I put on a size 14 regular Tommy Hilfiger jeans at Marshalls today and the waist was too big! Yay.
I am scheduled for my arm lift and BL/BA on the 15th of September. I'm thinking not a big change in size or weight there, but hopefully a little bit with the LBL in December.
Have a good week!
Donna
Keep hanging in there! You're doing terrific! Shopping can be a great motivator!
I know -- I just went shopping this past weekend AND cleaned out my closet - got rid of any and all clothing that is too large for me! I got rid of the size 30/32!
My weight loss has been at a standstill this month - I've been maintaining at 231. However I just joined a gym where I get help from their personal trainers and have my first appt with a trainer tomorrow. So am feeling confident the weight will begin dropping again this month.
Donna - good luck with your surgery in Sept! I see you might be in the Rochester area (Highland??)? I live in Farmington - please let me know if I can help out with anything - perhaps we could meet? I've read your diary and find your journey is inspiriing to keep up with the lifestyle changes that are required.
