Hello Again
Hello Everyone. It's me again. I thought I would drop in and thank you guys for the warm welcome and the exercise tips. So far, so good. It's only been a few days, but we all have to start somewhere, right? I've been eating protein bars for breakfast, and a protein shake for lunch, followed by a light supper that usually includes a small salad and a piece of baked or grilled meat or fish. I've been eating bananas and sugar free applesauce for a snack. I've been drinking water like a mad woman and once a day, I treat myself to a diet mt. dew. Good Lord, its hard to fix meals for the rest of my family, but I guess that's unavoidable. Even though my knees are weak, I decided to just get my butt to the park and walk the track anyway. Granted, I have to stop often, and rest, but the only way to strengthen my legs is to use them. My husband has decided to do this with me, even though he only needs to lose a few pounds. It is truly amazing how empowered I feel just by making the decision to take back my health and body.
Well, that's about it for now. I'll probably be making lots of posts like this, just so I can stay accountable. I believe that the only way to succeed in any addiction whether it be food, alcohol, drugs, etc.. is to stay honest and be accountable. I welcome all advice and suggestions, so please don't hesitate to call me on anything. I will gladly listen to those who have walked this road before me.
Thanks again, ladies.
xoxo
