Listing daily menus again
I suppose I could start listing what I eat again. I do that on my e-mails, so I suppose I can let you know on a daily basis just what my changed food plan is.
Friday, June 16
Breakfast
1 cup Wheat Chex
1+ cup 1% milk (part is for use in my coffee)
1 orange
1/2 cup egg substitute
Coffee
2 cups water
AM Snack
8 oz. Breyers Probiotic yogurt with fruit (low sugar)
2 cups water
Lunch
6 oz. homemade tuna salad w/ fat free mayo
Salad, with baby spinach, grape tomatoes, green pepper, & baby carrots
2 Tbsps. low fat salad dressing
4 Tbsps. fat free shredded mozzarella cheese
1 small peach
4 graham crackers
2 sugar free Jellos
2 cups water
Dinner
4-6 oz. steak on the griddle
1 baked white potato w/2 tsps. margarine
1 can vegetable soup
1 cup grapes
1-1/2 cups 1% milk
Evening Snack
1 sugar free, low fat ice cream sandwich
This is today's abstinent meal, including wiping off fingers when preparing food, instead of licking them.

S: Cup Orange Juice, string cheese stick with 10 slices of pepperoni
L: Leftover Chef Salad from last night, light dressing, glass of milk
S: 2.5 oz Tuna Salad
D: Probably Roasted Chicken, salad, steamed spinach

Chinese food from Safeway - Ate a lot less than I would have a year ago and skipped the egg roll all together

Fresh Bing cherries

Today was a wickedly bad eating day for me.
Breakfast - weight control oatmeal, 1 slice oat bran toast w/smart balance peanut butter and sugar free strawberry preserves
Lunch - South Beach Diet Bar
Dinner - 2 slices of turkey from a 6ft wedge at my sons 8th grade formal.
I drank 75 ounces of water today. That's way down from my usual intake of at least 125 oz.
I also went to the gym and expended 500 calories. I don't think I took in that many calories today. NOT eating is as bad as overeating. But when the situation dictates no time, there is no time.
I'll do better tomorrow.
