I am definitely interested.  I live and work in Morris County.  I had the relaize band put in on 9/15/09.  Have lost about 85 lbs so far, but I too am looking for a friend to help get me through the rough times.  Let me know if you are still looking for a friend.

I have had my band in for over a year and have had little success.  I recently had it deflated until I could get myself better prepared psychologically.  I wasn't required to and it was never suggested that I have any kind of before surgery counseling and now I am feeling like I was very unprepared mentally for the surgery. 

If anyone knows of a good psychologist who deals specifically with eating disorders in the Union County area, I would appreciate it.

Hello all!

I am pre-op lap band w/ the surgery date of 9/22/10. I live in Union County and work in Morris County. If anyone lives in the area, or is willing to travel (I'll meet halfway), I'd love to meet. Doesn't matter to me what stage of the journey you are in: pre or post. I'd just like to make a friend (or 8) who is going through WLS stuff.

I love the online support, but the person-to-person support is even better!
