**IS THERE ANY PLACE IN NJ TAKING MEDICAID?**
Hey All
i have a cardiologist who believes that WLS would be best for me, but i can't find a surgeon taking medicaid (facility must be an accredited "center of excellence"). has anyone here heard of a NJ facility/surgeon who takes medicaid?? also does anyone know how to look for one??
your responses are greatly anticipated
thanks
linda
Linda, I do not know if my surgeon takes Medicaid or not, but his office and the hospital where he performs surgery, University Medical Center at Princeton, are both a Centers of excellence. Dr. Brolin is a great surgeon. When I did my research I was impressed with what I learned about him and his level of skill. Some people find his bed side manner to be a bit lacking, but that doesn't bother me. He actually has a great sense of humor and is very caring. He is just very quiet and unassuming and people misunderstand that sometimes. He is an excellent physician and highly skilled. I looked for a great doctor and didn't worry too much about whether he made me feel warm and fuzzy. His staff is great too! Very friendly and extermely helpful and compassionate. His contact onformation is:
Dr. Robert Brolin
4250 US Route 1, North
Suite1
Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852
(732) 274-3434
The Medical Center definitely takes Medicaid patients, no worrys there.
Good Luck! Christine
