Any support on weight loss

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am wondering is this a sight just for Weight Loss Surgery or for any form of weight loss? I am following a Weight Loss Program called the "Cookie Diet" and I am in need of support. It is a very strict program with a daily calorie intake of 800 calories/day. I am trying to reach out for some help. Thanks for any input/support. Spktrue14

Welcome to ObesityHelp and NO this is not just a site for WLS. It is a site to offer support to people in the struggle against obesity. No matter what form of diet/surgery you choose to do. The main thing is that you are tired of being overwieght and unhealthy. We are here to give the needed support. Hi Jen and Laurie: Thanks -- I guess I knew that but when it first happens you don't think it out...you just question it! I imagine this'll be the way it is for the next month, even after banding. I suppose I'll be in a state of "mourning" for the lack of food. All in all, it's going pretty good.....making all my family's favourite meals and it doesn't bother me anymore that I CAN'T have any!!! Thanks again for your replies!! Barb

I agree Kerri...we all have different goals, but we have the same time frame on our side, and what better support than the people you started off with.

This is a support forum for everyone fighting obesity, but there is a specific forum on obesityhelp for people that have not had surgery. You might want to check that out as well. Maybe you can find someone on the same diet etc. Wishing you success in reaching your weight goal. Sharon
