hi all..i'm home. thanks for your prayers and good thoughts. each day is better, but for some reason, i didn;t think it would be this hard. my body hurts! it is getting better. i'm walking alot more and that seems to help. what did those that have had this done do for an upset stomach? that seems to be where my big problem is. i think it's the pain killers. i'll write more later when i'm better. hugs to all

Hi, Congrats! I didn't take any pain killers, but they are known for upsettting your stomach, especially if it's empty. Teru

Hey suzanne, congrats on your surgery! I just had it done too and I didn`t think it would be so hard either. In the first four days if I could have turned back I would have but, it gets better each day and I don`t feel like that anymore. As for being sick- it probably is from the pain killers which I stopped on the sixth day. So I didn`t have it. Sorry I couldn`t be of more help. Good luck, colleen

Hi Suzanne, So glad you are home, It will get better. The painkillers will upset your stomach... don't recall what I used at just a year out it seems so long ago.. Best thing to do is call your surgeons office they'll have a suggestion I am sure. Walking, Protein and Water are all important at this stage.. Keep on smiling. You'll get through this. Donna
