am i nuts

Hi everyone just got home from my last preop visit with my DR. .I am on my way..surgery 4/19...was thrilled as I walked out of the office..and cried all the way home...What am I nuts!!!!is this normal??? Marianne

Yes! You are normal... Some ppl experience a roller coaster of emotions. Just go with it. This is *your* journey and how you feel is as individual as you are! Best wishes for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery! Irene

marianne...i am experiencing the same thing...holy cow. i left my surgeons office this past thursday...i was so excited going there...i came out of the appointment, got into the car with my husband and burst into tears. i have been on and off like this for a few days. my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning and i feel like all i want to do is cry. i couldn't wait for this and now i feel like i'm nuts. it's good to know there's someone out there that feels the same i think we're normal yay! suzanne

Neither of you is nuts. I think it's just the many mixed emotions about what your getting ready to go through. Just keep the faith and ask God to give you strength. Emily
