3 yrs out in central NJ

Hi everyone I am almost 3 years out and I am in central NJ. I would love to meet some people local who are sharing the same experiences and even a workout buddy. Anyone close by? Rachel

I also had my surgery over 3 years ago I am in Barnegat NJ I would not mind having conversations There are 2 support groups in the area one in Toms River at community medical One is on Thursday night at 7:00 to 9:00 pm to attend you must be post-op to attend. The other is Friday night same time but on the first Friday of the month except April it is the second. I attend both meetings Laura

Hi Rachel - I'll be three years post op in June. As Laura mentioned above, there are several local WLS support groups. The OCWLS Toms River Group will be meeting this month on Friday, APril 14th at 7pm at Community Medical Center, Auditorium A. We usually meet the first Friday of each month, and will resume that schedule in May. Also, the OCWLS Group has just started a mid-month group in Lakewood at Kimball Medical Center the third Thursday of each month, also at 7pm. See Timmy's post for details on this.
