Meeting's (seminars) in central NJ

I was wondering if anyone knows where and when there will be any meetings both pre-op and post-op in the Princeton area? I was all set to go to one yesterday where my surgon was and had to work overtime. I was really mad. Been waiting for it all month and then bam, work was just out of control. Also, do I have to go to meetings only where my surgon is at? Thanks, BC

Hi BC, I also live in Franklin Park. Dr Robert Brolin performed my surgery and his office, NJ Bariatrics, on US1 North just above Raymond Road holds a support group meeting the first Monday of every month. The next meeting is April 3rd. There is a weekly meeting called Bariatric Angels, held at the Bound Brook Presbyterian church on Tuesday evenings. The contact info can be found from Somerset Medical Center's bariatric program coordinator - I think her name is Kate Fennimore, who started the BA meetings. Spend a few moments working the phones, and I'm sure you'll find the info you need. Good Luck! JB
