Dr. Nusbaums Patients

Hi everyone, I am looking for someone to ask a few questions who had their surgery with Dr. Nusbaum at Saint Barnabas. I had my initial consulation for surgey with him almost one year ago. I fought with the insurance company and finally got approved. Now before I know it the Office Administrator scheduled me for a filter and my surgery. How many people had another consult with him right before the actual day? We didn't discuss which RNY distal or proximal etc. Also a few things has changed, I might have gained 10 pounds in the one year.. Will I have a naso gastric tube when I wake up and a cath?

Dr Nusbaum is my surgeon. If he wasn't married, I'd kiss him on the lips I had a 2nd consultation with him prior to surgery - maybe a month or so? - after all my tests were done & I had insurance approval. Dr. Nusbaum is about the nicest man on the planet, so ask him ANYTHING (distal, proximal, etc) - he will give you a straight answer. If I had a naso-gastric tube, it was inserted after I was out & removed before I woke up - I have no memory of ever having one. I did have a catheter - the nurses who inserted it were pros - I never felt it being inserted. One word of warning - avoid the green Jell-O at St. Barnabas - it was nasty.
