Well it's over. And so far I have survived. I am a little tired, but other than that no complaints. I did have to stay in the hospital an extra day for several reasons. On friday my BP got up to 142/102, I hadn't passed gas, and I was just not feeling well. The surgery itself went off without a hitch. Dr. Borao did find a cyst on my left ovary about the size of an apple which he did remove. I just now have to follow up with my OBGYN. I guess that is all for now. I look forward to seeing you all at the next support meeting. Jolie

Congratulations on your surgery! I'm glad to hear everything went well after the first couple of problems were taken care of . I had a cyst discovered after my wls when they took me down for a cat scan of my abdomen and pelvis to check for an abscess. The cyst was the only thing they found, and those are very common for me. They only did the extra tests on me because my pulse was racing. I told them it was probably because the hospital room was about 180 degrees lol. It's always nice to know they're paying attention though. Best wishes on the rest of your wls journey! Carol
